L&T Services Does It Again!

In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, the Museum's track suffered some damages causing the derail of the Fairbanks Morse H2044 Locomotive and the Robert E. Lee passenger car. The Museum was able to rerail the Robert E. Lee but due to the brake rigging on the Fairbanks this was not an option. George Templeton, with L&T Crane Services, contacted the Museum and made arrangements for his crane crew to rerail the locomotive. If you recall, it was L&T who donated the services for the Museum to complete our PC-2 railcar inspections in 2015 and the lift to change out a wheel set on the City of Galveston.
